Setup Mailchimp

If you don't want to use Portraitbox's integrated newsletter system, we offer you the connection via Mailchimp.

In this guide, we'll show you how to link Mailchimp to your online gallery.

1. Create an account

Please set up an account with Mailchimp:
https://www.mailchimp.com/

2. Create a list

Once you have activated your Mailchimp account, create a new list for recipients.

3. Store access data in the admin area

Enter your access data in the admin area of your online gallery under Settings / Newsletter.

Click (preferably in a second browser window) on your company name in the Mailchimp account in the top right-hand corner and then on "Account".

Now click on Extras / API keys.

If you do not yet have an API key, click on Create a Key at the bottom left. You can then copy the API key and enter it in the admin area.

Finally, we need the ID of your created list. Click on Lists in the menu and on Settings in your list.

At the bottom you will now find the "Unique Id", which you also copy and enter in the admin area.
