In addition to online payment via PayPal, you can also let your customers pay via Klarna Payments. With Klarna Payments, your customers conveniently transfer the corresponding amount to their online banking account during the order process. As the merchant, you receive a confirmation in real time once the transfer has been completed. This allows you to send the photos immediately and your customer receives their prints even faster.

Klarna Payments complies with the high security standards of online banking. Your customers do not need to register or use a credit card. They pay simply, securely and quickly directly with their online bank account.

Tip: Check whether you receive the money correctly by placing a test order in your online shop via Klarna.

Register with Klarna

Registering with Klarna is very easy. Go to the link https://eu.portal.klarna.com/signup and register as an online merchant. Registration is free of charge.

Enter your Portraitbox homepage (e.g. mustermann.portraitbox.com) in the first step of the registration process under e-commerce URL.

For the question "Which platform do you work with?" select Other integration solutions and then Own built integration.

You create the API access data in your Klarna merchant account under Settings -> Klarna API access data.

Please note that it can take 3-4 working days for Klarna to activate your account. Only then can payments be processed via Klarna.
