Setup SOFORT Überweisung - Portraitbox Support

In addition to online payment via PayPal, you can also let your customers pay via SOFORT Überweisung. With SOFORT Überweisung (from Klarna), your customers conveniently transfer the corresponding amount to their online banking account during the order process. As a retailer, you will receive a real-time confirmation once the transfer has been completed. This allows you to send the photos immediately and your customer receives their prints even faster.

SOFORT Überweisung meets the high security standards of online banking and has TÜV-certified data protection. Your customers do not need to register or use a credit card. They pay simply, securely and quickly directly with their online bank account.

1. Register with SOFORT Überweisung

New registrations with SOFORT Überweisung are no longer possible! To offer SOFORT Überweisung, you must already be registered there as a merchant.

2. Create a project

Once you are logged in, click on New project in the left-hand menu under Projects. Then select the 2nd item SOFORT Classic project and click on Create SOFORT bank transfer project.

Enter the following values here:

General settings:

Store system > Own store system (self-programmed)

Address data:

Enter your address here

Bank details:

Enter your bank details here

Interface:

Please copy the URLs provided and do not type them in to avoid typing errors. If you are not using your own domain (e.g. meinstudio.de) in the online gallery, please copy the "classic" addresses.

Whitelabel / own domain

Attention with your own domain! If you use the whitelabel function (i.e. operate the online gallery on your own domain), you must enter different URLs. Here is an example for the domain https://www.meinstudio.de)

You can then save the project.

3. Store project data in your online gallery

The project you have just created has now been given an ID. You can now enter this ID and your SOFORT Überweisung customer number in the admin area of your online gallery under Settings / Payment methods.

Tip: Please make a test order in your online gallery via SOFORT Überweisung to check whether you have received the money correctly.
